Cartier Launches Santos De Cartier 100 Carbon Watch

With its square, rounded dial and exposed screws, the Santos watch has become a major icon of Cartier. Louis Cartier designed the Santos for 112 years old pilot Santos and launched the Santos de Cartier 100 Carbon watch (model: WSSA0006).

The new Santos de Cartier 100 Carbon watch is treated with black ADLC (amorphous diamond-like carbon) coating, which is classic and new. This is not the first carbon-coated watch in the Santos range, as gold ADLC-coated watches already exist. The new Santos de Cartier 100 Carbon watch is made of stainless steel and equipped with a new self-made movement, which is more affordable and affordable.
The stainless steel case is black ADLC-coated, measures 51.1 mm x 41.3 mm x 13 mm, is water-resistant to 100 meters, and comes with a sapphire crystal. The black dial is decorated with sword-shaped stainless steel hour and minute hands (different from ordinary blue steel hands) and red seconds hand. The hour and minute hands and Roman numerals are coated with Luminescent fluorescent material to improve the legibility of the watch. As always, the crown is set with a blue synthetic spinel.
The watch is powered by Cartier’s new self-winding 1847 MC movement with central hours, minutes and seconds, 42 hours of power reserve, elegant black calfskin strap and stainless steel ADLC-coated folding clasp.
